About Myself
My name is Tom Simmons and I am currently a senior at Hamilton Southeastern High School. My
passion is business, primarily in the fields of marketing and advertising. Currently, I am the
Head of Backstage for HSE Drama Club, HSE DECA Presidents, Academy of Finance Class officer, and
a member of the Hamilton Southeastern Innovations course. From this course, I have been able to
create new ideas with my fellow students, work with companies to plan ahead for their future, and even think outside
the box to brainstorm ways to innovate. This course has allowed me to become more prepared for my future
in so many ways. Please join me on my journey of innovation and my experiences been apart of!

Why choose to innovate?
Innovations is the act of making changes in something established, especially by introducing new methods, ideas, or products.
By choosing to innovate, I am able to expand my imagination and think outside of the box. It has allowed me to expand my
knowledge on ways to be different, and how to excel in what I do. My innovations class has helped improve my
views on myself, as well as views on how to improve anything.

Imagination is not only the uniquely human capacity to envision that which is not, and therefore the fount of all invention and innovation. In its arguably most transformative and revelatory capacity, it is the power to that enables us to empathize with humans whose experiences we have never shared.
